Here are some simple ideas to create mindfulness and wellbeing this winter.
We hope you like our feel good ideas and tips as much as we do.
Connect with Nature
Wrap up warm and embrace the great outdoors. We love a brisk and windswept walk along the Cornish coast. So grab you snug layers, bobble hat, wellies and head outdoors and embrace nature.
Here’s more info from this BBC article on How Nature is Good for our Health and Happiness read more here
Switch Off and Move
What better way to end the day then to take time for you. Our favourite end of day switch off is a home yoga practice. Focus on the breath and movements to create to switch off from the past and be present.
Here is a great online platform for yoga videos that can be downloaded or streamed and practiced at home link to platform here
Feast with Friends
Organise a feast evening with friends you haven’t seen for ages. Create an ambient space with simple and tasty feel good food. There is nothing better than catching up with friends over good food.
We love the beautifully published Kinfolk magazine and you can find lots of inspiration on their website here
Embrace Early Nights
Create wellbeing on a cold dark evening with a cup of your favourite tea, some ambient candle light and a good soak in a warm relaxing bath.
We love the natural rosemary and lemongrass bath salts from our friends Trevanro Skincare in Cornwall buy here

Littlegreenshed was started back in 2010, when we took on an allotment near our home in Bristol. Dreaming of living the ‘Good Life’ with our two small boys. But the blog soon grew into a passion for all things lifestyle, and our story has developed into the blog it is today.
“Circle of Pine Trees is a record of time passing and of the seasons changing. It’s a blog for those who take pleasure in a posy of flowers picked from the garden or the way in which sunlight falls across the pillow. If you notice the beauty in life’s little moments, this is a place for you.
The place where I like to share all the things that bring me joy, from favourite recipes and interior ideas to daily discoveries and inspirations. I have been styling obsessed since childhood days spent playing in my treasure-filled play house in my grandma’s garden.
